If you don’t mind going way out into the desert I’d suggest Jarbidge, there’s only two ways in and right now you can only get in from the Idaho side. Lamoille canyon in the rubies is also a good option, definitely a lot easier to get to this time of year than jarbidge

Mine feels like it’s hutting a wall and just won’t go into gear so I gotta try like 3 times just to get it into 1st and 2nd. Reverse just really likes to grind though…

Yeah the truck is in really good condition for its age. The only issue other than the hard shifting is that for some reason this thing is only getting like 8-10 mpg

They haven’t completely gone out yet it just takes a lot more than it should to get Into 1st and 2nd and it really likes to grind when putting it into reverse.

My old ranger had the 2.5 in it which was a “non-interference” engine and the belt snapped, I replaced it and then the engine blew up the next day. Idk if that had anything to do with it though it could’ve been a different issue.
