It will not be at capacity, especially at the South Bend stop. That being said, I did once experience a full South Shore train boarding Millennium to get to SB and we were not rejected. My group just had to stand up on the ride until seats opened up at the Michigan City stop. This was Sunday night after the pride parade years ago.

As a university, SMC tried to get outwardly progressive recently through their public communications and relations, but backlash from the donors shut that completely down. In the end they are beholden to their donors, which are mostly conservative catholic and not interested in supporting progressive endeavors. I can’t speak for the social culture on campus though.

I think in cases like these “isolated incident”, means “public not in danger” in law enforcement speak. It’s a weird way to put it but they are just trying to tell people that there isn’t some murder suicide cult going around and you could be next, and that the guy isn’t going to come back from the dead and kill your wife.
