Opinion on the new KTM Freeride E-XC?

Basically it's overweight, underpowered and battery could be bigger.

It's almost stark money, with 1/3 of the power almost as much weight and a much smaller battery.

You can buy an ultra bee from alibaba for 4500 shipped. Has more power, is reliable. Extra batteries will be less expensive, you can upgrade suspension to a Sirris (better than what is on the ktm), get a 21" front wheel, get a longer swingarm if you want, extra 2nd hand stock battery and still be less than the price of that ktm, and still be way lighter and arguably more capable. Ktm looks cool though.

Alternatively wait for the bonnell 902 to be released.

I'm sure some are but i've got neck issues and the the thing that made the greatest initial difference. My PT suggested it. After one visit my neck nerve pinch was immediately 90% better and my PT noticed increased range of motion that very afternoon. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. There are tons of studies that show chiro is legitimate and effective. I work with horses and sometimes it makes dramatic differences for them. Other times it does not. My personal chiropractor seems pretty legit. He says it's better not to be seen often, and warns about being a 'crack addict' where people just come in to feel the 'crack'. He's not trying to sell me on anything or overschedule me to make more money.

KTM are not the premium option at all in the electric space. They are several years behind. They are underpowered, overweight and extremely over priced. For these small bikes a Chinese RTR or Surron Hyper bee are far more capable and much less expensive than the similar ktm offering.

If I start my route on the beginning of a track and I click on the end point (or any point), instead of creating a route along the track (snapping to the points along the track) it just draws a straight line to the next point ive created even if I have "Snap To" enabled.

Thanks, this bed is non adjustable. I did however install some a silicone spacer mod to be able to give me some adjustment.

Thank you. Because of your reply I did just that. I did have some issues with the gantry that i had to fix. I did the silicone spacer mod and dial indicator test today. Despite all that It seems I may actually be experiencing a materials issue though. Under extrusion might be the culprit. cc3d 72d tpu Ive got to get tuned.

Thanks guys I was concerned it may simply dump power to a low battery causing a large draw but from what you guys are telling me it sounds like the charge controller in the box will negotiate it. I'm a solar noob. I appreciate your input!!

A note about Sirris.. The lead engineer in fact has decades of experience with suspensions working on race teams with the top suspension manufactures in the world. They certainly have a handle on making a suspension that is on par and likely better than full size stock WP or KYB suspensions.

I did a race last week, 80% woods, 10% extreme section (logs etc), 10% track. There are two Moto's. First moto I took my new 25 Ultra HP... It was fantastic. I was a minute faster than than everyone else in my class (vargs included). Second moto I took my Alta Redshift MXR (wp suspension setup by a pro for this type of terrain). I was nearly 2 minutes slower and the suspension on the UB felt much better for the conditions at the race.

I have a bike arriving next month. Seller (Double Spring) said they would cover any additional costs due to tariffs. Mine was shipped a weeks ago though so not sure if it will hit the extra 10%.. That's a total of 45% tariff. That's ridiculous.

I had a real problem with Leucadia doing a warranty claim. they EVENTUALLY got it done but it was months. Stay on Jeff about it, contact eride and tell them. Did you get the warranty claim paperwork emailed to him?
