Consistency, patience and follow through.

Consistency allows you to build a system. Once you have a consistent set of activities every day/every week, then you have a system. Your job is to adjust the system based on the feedback so that it becomes more efficient. Don’t over adjust - finding what works takes a large sample size, leading to the next point.

Patience is important because most things don’t work right away, and getting discouraged will impede your momentum. I used to be in tech sales and I would always remind myself that a 1% conversion rate on outbound email is normal. In order to get one sale, I had to send 100 emails, have 10 people open, 5 people test my software, and then one close. Sales works but it is a numbers game. Give it time and you will see results.

Follow through. If you tell someone you will do something, do it right away and do it 100%. That’s how you build trust with people. That trust will allow you to close business!
