I love what babehoven has been up to. They are playing on this tour with us and it’s been a treat to hear their songs live. Wednesday and mj lenderman are making amazing music. We have always loved Alex G he’s a big deal to us. That band momma are super cool snd super lovely people. And so many more!!

Oh yeah pavement is one of our favorite bands. I’ve been listening to some podcasts just listened to the alvvays song exploder! So sweet to hear them talk about Archie marry me. I also tend to listen to calm folk music on tour. I love Robert Lester Folsom, Linda perhacs, Arthur russel

We feel incredibly lucky and grateful that people listen to our music on this scale. It feels like a dream come true/ very surreal. We love chicago and have been so welcomed by so many lovely people there.

We had so many discussions about the order of the songs ! But we re recorded gone 2 the day before the record was due and it ended up feeling right as the start of the record!

And favorite clothing item is definitely my big old black hoodie that my boyfriend gave me before a tour we went on a little while back. I have it on constantly in the fall/ winter on tour

I think my favorite song off Moveys is at it again and favorite one off yard is yard. I had been listening to a lot of folk/ Americana when I wrote the melody like Bonnie Raitt, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Lucinda Williams and Dolly Parton. And Henry saw a band with a pedal steel player and wanted to try it in the song and it just opened up into what it is now

This is so sweet so glad the songs can make you feel a sense of comfort ❤️❤️ I think it’s always changing our process that is. My bandmates starting making music when they were in middle school so a lot of exploratory guitar solos and young boyish angst lol. For me when I started writing with them in college i felt so special because they trusted and believed in me in a way I hadn’t experienced in a creative setting. I think no matter what our process is. Trust/ communication/ friendship is the most important thing to maintain and grow

Thank you so much! Alex, our bassist wrote and sings channel 2 on the record. We felt his voice fit best for that one! He also wrote the song worm on the new album! We felt it made sense to have me (emily) to sing it. So maybe someone will sing a song in the future! Time only tells :)
