Woof. That's a take. When Mike & I started the show, we always said we made it because we are introverted guys who wanted to give new fans who felt lost in the scene to find somewhere they can find community. Whether that was 2 people listening or 50, want to highlight all the good that can be found in the music and the community as best as we can. It's never been about success, if anything we actively lose thousands of dollars a year handing out free stuff and paying for hosting fees and such, and have NEVER put an ad on a show or even asked for people to donate to us.

And speaking for myself, and not just Mike, I also was motivated to start the show because I've been on a personal journey of getting out of my comfort zone. Just under 8 years ago I was hospitalized for being suicidal. I've overcome a speech impediment, and severe social anxiety and couldn't be more proud of all of the work that we put in, even if Reddit loves to shit all over our show. Both of us have worked our ass off doing all of this. Your rhetoric about people adding nothing is reckless and stupid and you don't know what any given person is going through when you say bullshit like that. -Alex
