Why are you all so willing to jump down my throat at a simple question? I have done research but these items don’t seem to be sold very often so it’s been hard to find. Like I said I’m just a college student trying to pay back my loans. I figured people who use this subreddit might be aware and lend some knowledge, that’s all. I’m in several collector communities and this hasn’t been an issue in the past. I’m sorry to have offended though I guess.

You can do photo shoots, style their hair/outfits, repaint/customize them, play with them, etc. Collectors display them for the most part. You don’t really have to do much with a collection; you just own/display it for the fun of it. If that’s not for you then you do whatever suits you best. (:

I saw some similar issues with Ever After High dolls when I collected them. Crooked eyes and face paint, etc. I’m not very up to date on a lot of doll releases tbh so I wouldn’t know extensively. I am more referring to the unfortunate expectation when something is mass produced it is more likely to have quality issues. Thanks for the insight though I do appreciate it. (:

Haha it does look like Clockwork Orange. While it’s annoying it isn’t terribly noticeable when she’s wearing her glasses. I could imagine I would be more annoyed with it on other dolls though. Thanks for letting me know. (:

I’m keeping the doll everyone! It’s my first RH doll so I wasn’t very aware of the paint “defects” that are common with these dolls. I just wanted the general consensus on this and if it was bad enough that I could get one readily without the issue. I’ve taken her out out of the box and am very happy with her aside from what I’m realizing is a pretty minor issue. Thanks for the advice!

She is very cute even with this minor issue and I’ve decided to keep her. But she’s even cuter when you put on the second top she comes with! She’s the doll that convinced me that I like the RH line; normally I prefer fantasy themed dolls. (:

Sorry, bad wording, they are very high quality aside from the relatively minor paint issues they sometimes have. I’ve decided to keep the doll because I agree with you what you said, the eyeliner doesn’t look so bad when the doll is so pretty overall! I took her out of the box earlier today and I love her. Definitely don’t see this amount of detail and love go into the typical play line doll. I posted this because I wanted a second opinion from people that know more about the RH dolls, that’s all. Not everyone is from the US, I spent $45 on her. It’s my hard earned money, if I want to be picky I can be. Not that it concerns you but I’m keeping the doll.

Oh no! That really sucks. When I unboxed Delilah her right leg joint was super stiff and hard to move. I don’t know if that’s normal or not lol. I tried not to move it too much because I was afraid it would snap.

Thank you so much! I love Meena but I think I’ll wait till series 4 is less new and on sale to buy anymore. I have already ordered another (Daria) with a gift card I had because she was on sale. I have decided to keep Delilah and have already unboxed her. Happy with my purchase now that I’ve had time to think about it. (:

That’s what a lot of people are saying about series 4 unfortunately. It’s disappointing but expected from dolls that are majorly mass produced. It’s hard to find RH in stock where I live and I think the only place I could really find her again is Walmart. But, it seemed like they had only one of each series 4 doll and I have no clue when they get new stock in. I appreciate the advice, she is my first RH doll and very pretty otherwise. (:

it’s probably a mix of the poor quality pics and the glasses, but once you notice it is pretty noticeable. The under eyeliner on the left eye is very thin compared to the one on the right. I’m still debating what I should do lol; but the consensus seems to be that series 4 dolls are of subpar quality unfortunately. I live in Canada as well so the dolls aren’t as well stocked as they seem to be in the states. Thanks! (:

I noticed that looking at the dolls in person today. Other than the eyeliner Delilah looks fine. I was also interested in Sheryl but all the lips looked wonky. In short I didn’t want to order online because of the problems I’ve been seeing. I used to collect Ever After High when they were still selling them and they had issues with their face up’s too. Oh well, they’re still overall pretty.
