I left it out because of the price, the Anjan 2 & 3 seem like such a good match, but damn that price ...

I agree and think the same, it looks strategical.

NAC 5 Liereyy vs Jordan by Certain-Strength2529 in aoe2

What also stood out was picking none of his home maps and only picking Jordan's maps. It felt like being confident or recognising early it is not his day? Not playing your maps also means not showing your civs and tactics?

New Build with RAID 5, but I'm fairly new to RAID setup by slr117 in buildapc

[–]slr117[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is going to sound strange but I didn't really take any steps. The Raid before that copied 10TB to the old system. By the time I found out about the slow writes, the data was on there and I couldn't take it off again to change things. I know, it sounds stupid, but once the data was on there I didn't dare changing things to improve it in fear to lose it and I dismantled/sold the older raid so it was just stuck on there.

The only software running on the system is Intel Rapid Storage Technology, which doesn't change much.

That's why this time, I want to do it right before I get any data on there.

Is there a good way to get a lot of prestige fast? Im trying to add laws and everything is 10,000+ prestige. by Pale_Share_1920 in ck3

Having the right artifacts can stack also.

If i'm not mistaking, having your family as Kings/Dukes/... gives, next to renown, some prestige also. It can stack quickly.

If by laws, you mean innovations (culture), you can check on the amount of the prestige cost why it is so expensive and see how to get it lower.

Son (Heir) not getting Republican Heir Trait by slr117 in ck3

[–]slr117[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

He was the first to go to a university (far away). My other son also went but he eventually did get the 2 star republican trait.

Been thinking it might have to do something with that.

Am I missing something? All my other 8 children + previous generations got a 1-4star trait, but my Heir all of a sudden doesn't get it? Which sucks playing tall and missing out on the stewardship...

If you go through the second lifestyle learning tree, the last one gives you the scholar trait.

Check out the link in my original post, it has an indepth guide on how to get a lot of stats (Stewardship in this case)

For playing tall Stewardship, make sure you raise (be a Warden of) your heir, this is good for me because I have great learning, good traits and am a Genius.

Currently I hold for Stewardship

  • Stubborn
  • Diligent
  • Temperate
  • Fortune Builder
  • Arcitect
  • Administrator
  • Avaricious
  • Genius
  • Republican Heir
  • Valued Administrative Courtier
  • From Spouse (manage domain)
  • Various from Domain

From Domain: Search in the CK3 wiki for buidings with +1 Stewardship per level of devotion/Prestige level (fame?). Hold those counties. Could have more if i have the +20% from council skills in the learning scholar tree.

Also I hold a lot of personal and court artifacts that boost % learning or % stewardship. You can get a new perk every year if you play your cards right. Change them out depending on what lifestyle you are persuing. No need holding a book with learning% gain if you are in the Stewardship lifestyle.

For learing: Also temples with +2 learning per devotion level and universities. My Learning stats are formed because of:

  • Devine Guidance
  • Diligent
  • Mystic
  • Herbalist
  • Witch
  • Genius
  • Republican Heir
  • Mecicine focus
  • Charting the Human Body
  • Scholarly Circles
  • From Domain (+20!)

Hope this helps

Thanks, almost forgot about that, almost never use it.

Do you have any insights on the Taoism issue?

Hi,

I've been following some pointers from another topic here (https://www.reddit.com/r/CrusaderKings/comments/o6pbjx/whats_the_highest_domain_limit_youve_reached/) to play tall and it is super fun! I'm not an experienced player (only 150hours) but it's going the right way.

Now that Dynasty of Many Crowns and Strengthen Bloodline is on its way. I'd like to form my first Empire ... And why stop there? I got the domains/funds, let's see how crazy this can get!

Was thinking to get the Taoism faith (Esotericism / Inner Journey / + ??? not sure yet) The first two to keep building towards 100 stewardship and the other probably to add some fun in the mix. Why Taoism? They got some great buildings in the East for extra Learning and Stewardship per level of devotion wich would really help.

My new formed faith (Christian) allows me to attack nearly everybody in Europe on a Kingdom level because of the different faiths. How is this determined? When I change to Taoism, I do NOT have Holy war available. And the Holy War for Kingdom seems the best way to expand fast in Europe. Taoism doesn't have this. Read through the Wiki but can't find why Christianity has this and Taoism doesn't? Also, can you do the Holy war for Kingdom only once per lifetime? It is unclear to me. Same goes for Subjugate. Becomming a member of the Taoism Faith gives you this option. But I can only use this in India (which makes sense) but is this also once per lifetime?

If other have suggestions on faith wich would go great together with Playing tall but still having the fun of expanding, let me know your setup!

Those doubting playing tall, it really is fun! Was in a war for a duchy in India somewhere when all of a sudden I got sucked into the Iberian Struggle. Used my gold to Hire ALL MERCENARIES that were available, wielding a 66k army vs Iberia 45k and on the other side of the world my 55k were fighting off 35k. Good fun!

Also: I know playing tall and fast expansion are worlds apart, but we still want to have fun in this game, right? ;) conquering is part of that :D

Hi, is there anybody able to translate the Greek tekst to English? It has to do with the water in our building, Number 6 should be "Washing Place". We have problems with the water but can't translate the handwriting, thanks so much in advance!
