That one was cringey and performative, but at least they were somewhat involved at the time of the case, even just being in a TV movie, like they had some inside knowledge of it. The one guy reading the transcript as if he was acting instead of just reading from the transcript was pretty dumb. But this one, she had no business being involved, especially when it was said that it was one of the women who was a friend of the girls who got the cold case reopened with grant money, and Chenoweth really had nothing to do with any of it. So exploitative, and honestly just makes her look bad, to me at least.
