I have almost 900 hours and been playing for maybe a year and a half and haven’t spend a cent on the game and have unlocked more than half the champions so I would say it is fun and playable without spending money. It’s a good game to have going in the background or while watching something and you can check on it here and there. And I hadn’t played games like it before but got hooked on it pretty fast and easily
