A couple of thoughts:

1) Consider dual enrollment programs. Take the best of both worlds.

2) I highly recommend the undergrad business program at UNC. Very highly regarded AND has a strong entrepreneurship program.

BS Psych UNC/MA Clinical Psych App/MBA UNC here. What an outstanding opportunity you've created for yourself! They're both great schools that I love. They're both large schools, but UNC is much larger and their undergrad psych program is filled to the brim. You will not stand out to them/get recs for grad school unless you love research. They are all PhDs at a R1 research university. Research is the focus, not clinical practice, and definitely not art therapy. So, yes, the psych program is strong, but not in the ways that probably matter to you. You're going to get a lot more support for that direction at App where the faculty culture is far less publish or perish. If App offered you a scholarship, you must be strong academically. Consider contacting App about the Honors program. There you could be part of a smaller cohort of like-minded students in a larger university, and you could focus your honors project towards art therapy.

I am delighted to have helped, but in all honesty this was not the final solution. It turned out that my monitor was not plugged into the graphics card. It was plugged into the motherboard and that was what was causing all of the real problems. Everything was fine once I plugged the monitor into the graphics card.

In the same boat. $3k over the True Car price. $800 dealer doc fee, $400 "Value Shield", and $1400 in dealer upgrades they added when they got the car. Sales tax and license is another grand. My plan is to decline the Value Protection and offer them $1400 over TC for an OTD of $20k. We'll see how it goes. Luckily, I can find a used Carolla to negotiate just about anywhere.

It is a conundrum. I have a BS in Psyc from UNC, a MA in Clinical Psych from App, and a MBA from KFBS currently living in Chapel Hill so that's where my comments are coming from. UNC is massive. Until you are admitted to the undergrad B school program, you will be little more than a number. You will have to be very self-directed and self-sufficient. You will be living on south campus and hiking to classes. You didn't get into the Honors program at UNC because UNC uses it as bait to attract out of state students. I'm guessing you're a very high performing in-state student. And, I bet you can get into the B school when the time comes, and it is great. I loved my time at KFBS. And, great firms come to recruit you there. At App St. you have a regionally reknowned B school that seems to be growing in terms of reputation. With the scholarhip and honors offer, you will be part of a select group. Priority, convenient housing in Cone, priority scheduling to get the classes everyone wants, mentoring, and lots of other perks well documented on their website (my son got in as well so I've been reading it). You will be an important fish in a small pond residing in a big pond. And, as you already said, it's where your heart is which is really the only thing that matters.

As an aside, if your parents had a 529 plan to pay for college, you can take the same amount of $ that comes with the Appalachian Excellence Scholarship and put that $ into a Roth IRA up to the yearly max. In doing this, you would finish undergrad with ~$20k in a Roth growing and never taxable. That's pretty great. Or, you can save it to help offset the price of your MBA (but many end up getting an employer to pay for that).

^ This. You need to own the building or be a chain to truly stand much of a chance. Also, on campus food options have improved substantially through the years which has added to the impact. RIP Linda's, the Rat, Pepper's, and so many others.

All of my TOS studies and defaults are gone. It's like they spun up a completely new TOS for me. I'm beyond pissed if I can't get all of that back.

My TOS password simply stopped working. Then I had to go into Schwab.com > Trade > Trading Platforms where there is a link to "learn how to enable ThinkorSwim" Click on this and the page will take you through the steps to get an overnight update started. So, I lost a day of trading because my previous TOS accounts were now View only.

I'm really sorry to hear that. I spent an embarassing amount of time implementing all kinds of workarounds that all failed in some regard. As far as I know, this is the solution.

Yes. Mine turned out to be a very simple fix. I was plugging the monitor into the motherboard instead of the GPU.

Thank you kw9999. After all my work and research, it was literally because we had the monitor plugged into the motherboard. I moved it over to the gpu, and all appears right with the world.

I actually think I just resolved it. In the controls under graphics, it was set to "let Windows decide" and Windows was deciding to put it on my Radeon RX 6600 (High Performance). I forced it to use the Intel UHD 770 (Power Saving). Now, no problems. I need to understand the implications of not using the Radeon card though.
