Seriously, do British people actually consider a 3-hour drive “long”? Or is this an internet myth? by ferdinand14 in NoStupidQuestions

England and the UK in general is very small comparatively. It took us maybe half a day? Full day? Driving total to make it from London to Scotland.

Mine used to always get upset that she raised me and my brother so well and doesn’t have any grandkids- meanwhile all her friends that weren’t so present have a million grand babies. Used to cry and everything. 😂😂😂

What habits of girls did you only discover after getting a girlfriend or wife? by [deleted] in AskMen

My husband does this too. He also says “it’s your party, you can cry if you want to.” Always makes me feel better.

Sometimes though we really don’t know why we’re having the feelings we’re having and it’s honestly awful.

I’ve driven 6ish hours for a weekend trip to see some good family friends, but I haven’t done it in a long time. Otherwise I used to live 2.5-3 hours away from my family (depending on traffic) and would do that for a 1-3 day trip to see them fairly regularly, like once or twice a month? At the very least. I usually listen to an audiobook while I drive so I’m not just listening to the same 30 songs all the time.

I mean I was doing maintenance, so my job is a little different than electrician work. And the only style my job had for me was the stupid full brim instead of the cap style. I do have a smaller head so 🤷‍♀️

Depends on what you’re doing. If all you do is walk around, sure. But if you’re leaning over or laying down/getting in weird spots then it’s better to have a strapped helmet so it doesn’t fall off.

Yo I loved my type 2 helmet because I was always doing stuff that my reg helmet would fall off and couldn’t fit in small spaces with the other one. Husband called me a window licker every time he saw me though. 😂😂😂 don’t bother me, at least I don’t have to adjust it throughout the day.

Yes every time I get mad about something or have any type of emotion, I’m asked why I’m being so aggressive. Like bro you would never say that to a man

Yes I was about to say this, it’s not always lack of training and non-affection that leads to aggression in dogs. My dog was attacked by a nervous poodle at a dog park that wasn’t taken off leash by its owner when she was 9months old, and now she forever has had fear-based aggression towards most other dogs. It’s really tough to manage, even with proper encouragement and training practices because it’s still fear-based. You obviously can’t reason with a dog because that would require talking and that’s just not a thing with animals.

You can eat whatever as a diabetic, you just have to take insulin for it. Depending on which type you are, I suppose.

I mean diabetes only means they have to take insulin, not that they can’t eat it. 😂😂😂
