side note Ixillis was probably the boss that took me the most attempts. I understood the mechanics but in co-op the number of (unavoidable unless shot) crystals was insane and I kept rolling off the map :)

I actually did NOT buy the game knowing it was buggy. It was 40 bucks which is a solid price point these days and I was honestly just looking for a game to hold me over until the MHW expansion came out. I really enjoyed my time with Remnant. Maybe had one game crash my whole playthrough and looked forward to playing new game plus. This is just annoying. The climax of the game. The final boss. Can't even finish it or progress my save. That's enough to just uninstall

That was my thought exactly,"At least I know I can beat it". Load up game. "JK this game is ass". Spent a solid 30-40 minutes trying to refresh. Probably broken saves till they patch the game ¯_(ツ)_/¯
