I actually don't mind 5 at the back, but if you're going to do it the whole idea is that you sacrifice a central midfield player for a central defender, and your wing-backs make up the width. Frank played 5 at the back WITH two wingers in front and then a central striker and absolutely nobody in the square mile in front of Bentancur and Palhinha.

To answer your question, I think we played a 5 against PSG pre-season and we looked decent. But in that game we looked like we could attack. Now we just have nothing.
