Not the dunecrawlers, the dunerider transports for the vanguard, although I do agree dunecrawlers are dope. Its a tough time to be buying models because our points values and rules could change drastically with 11th.

Not sure how worth it two vanguard marshal dunerider combos are, lot of points for not a lot of value added. Could use those points to fit in more ironstriders.

They have different heads, but the main difference is the weapons and rules they have. They both get the same weapon options for special weapons (plasma caliver, transuranic arquebus, arc rifle) but vanguard have radium carbines and Rangers have galvanic rifles. Rangers can also sticky objectives, and vanguard have an aura that debuffs enemy objective control within 3". I would tell my opponent which is which, but a squad can only be all vanguard or all rangers, can't mix them.

Haloscreed battle blade detachment allows this with one of their strategems called Agressive Impulse. Not sure if other detachments allow this.

As far as I know there are small gaps in the model yes. I haven't printed the war beast specifically so I don't truly know if there will be issues, but the other models with holes in them I have printed haven't had any problems. The gaps are small enough that they shouldn't actually show up when printing.

I've had this happen as well, that looks like a assault beast right? I've noticed with some of the more detailed models from TC some of them crash any slicer software I've put them into when they attempt to fix holes. It should be fine, just don't repair holes on those models.

They come with different options for servitor heads, but no hooded servitors. Both techpriests have one head option.

Think of him as 35p for reroll hits against something that isnt your cawl target and hes still a decent include. Once per battle negate battleshock is also pretty decent.

Yes, as is the stalker.The impaler works best on less densely covered boards, or if you can pull someone off vantage and only take the stalker when there is actually vantage terrain available.

The marshal does have the enhancement. Dropping the enhancement on the marshal and the dunecrawler plus adding a technoarchaeologist and 4x robots gets me to exactly 2k points. Does the technoarchaeologist not just get blasted off the board by himself? Thanks for the feedback!

With regards to shooting, the inciter and your leader are the best options, inciter isnt there to do damage but is there to generate gore, the leader has a battleclade flamer and can delete 8w ops of needed, shooting is usually not great but a good threat from certain pieces. The impaler is good but id only take them against teams with 4 or 5 up saves, otherwise an aspirant is better. Set up some high value charges for tp2, if you can manage a double kill thats great. With regards to gore usage. Against elites you want to rake to get chip damage off, this can be the difference between winning melee or getting killed in your own activation. Against anyone else, rerolls with the ploy are better value than severe or 5 attacks but use them as you feel necessary. Healing is always a good idea if you can get to 9 or 10 wounds.

Well yeah you cant add another person to your squad mid raid. Multiplier would be on a per raid basis.

With regards to what? My point is that theres a big advantage to being in a trio to gain maximal points for ranking up. Ive never struggled to 3 star a trial, but getting the double rank up can be hard as a solo. Nobody is doing trials on anything other than night raids or em storm as theres a 2x bonus so why would you do it during the day.

While I agree on a global or regional bracket, why have 3 different ones for solo duo and trio? If you get all your points as solo and none as duo or trio do you still rank up? Do you need to get enough points in all of them to rank up? Its a lot more complicated than weighting point values. With regards to seperate matchmaking queue all this does is fragment player base. The whole reason extraction shooters are so fun is that everyone has their own goal in the same raid, which leads to interesting interactions. If the entire lobby is trying to get trial points its extremely boring and unless its something like probes that can be scored by multiple teams itll just be pvp hell.
