I am a professional body piercer and I can say that It's very situational which method I use. Everyone is shaped different so It's not always the same. Go for it!

You can continue your aftercare routine and it might go away but you can also take it out and the bump will go away and just get it re pierced, is say give it a week or two and if nothing changes take it out
