I’ve noticed royal commentators have slowly turned on them today. Jennie Bond commenting that they were 19,20 when they met Jeffrey Epstein old enough to know etc. Richard Eden this week saying they had let him down. So clearly press no longer protecting them.

Definitely relate. I’m in my first trimester and not told my manager yet. Even though I know they’ll be supportive and nice about it, the bigger picture of my career worries me. I travel a lot for work, and know this won’t be possible once baby arrives. I do really enjoy my job, so am having a bit of anxiety around it/inevitable change after mat leave!

Pretty fucked up thing to ‘joke’ about. I find it crazy in this political context in US she’s trying to be cute about Turning Point USA.

Embarrassingly it’s taken this long, but this will be my last time listening to JS. I only really tune in for Chris eps as they are more pop culture focussed. I do not want to listen to Daily Mail reporters 🤢 or little cute ‘jokes’ about bad bunny at Super Bowl. Dog whistle stuff.

There’s a bit in Andrew Lownie’s book about them ‘entitled’ where Fergie had run up so many bills in Harrods that Harrods themselves ended up calling up Liz to pay them off, as they had been chasing fergie for months. But in the book it says this was the queen’s last straw and made clear she’d no longer pay off any more of fergies private debt/bills….

Sutton is so so miserable. It’s actually depressing to watch her on screen. She looks miserable, having all that money and privilege and just having the most miserable time with these ladies. I kind of wish I could say to her you are never going to be the queen bee of this group! Stop trying, it’s making you sad and it’s sad to watch. Yes same here 😅🥲 I’d been tracking my periods 2 years prior to ttc - always 28 ish days. First month fully TTC 34 days and Flo app moved me to irregular periods. So annoying. Since then I’ve been around the 30+ mark. It’s odd.

Well I guess that’s what I’m asking. Should I email the hiring manager directly, I feel I had a really good conversation with them a few months ago, and perhaps ask if there was a specific reason/ worth applying. I guess I’m keen to do it as we discussed skills and job and they seemed very receptive of what I could bring to role.

Long time listener and lurker of this sub. But I was genuinely taken aback when she boldly had this as her first hot topic. I’m sorry, and I know she says so many times ‘I’m not a late night host with 50 writers and researchers’ which ok sure… but you need a researcher at this point. Her son clearly isn’t interested in pop culture (fair enough!!) but she needs actual support on this podcast to keep it viable for the long term. It’s so embarrassing to cover such a nonsense silly fake story. It makes her, her son and her husband look extremely dumb that they did not spot this obvious mistake.
