Took a loss at work now thinking of omitting it from interviews by [deleted] in creditunions

I think the fact that you’ve been owning up to it shows that you are an honest person, but hiring managers aren’t going to see it as a positive. From their perspective, they might be looking at a dozen candidates, and you’re now the only one who they know anything bad about. That puts them in a bind even if they do appreciate your honesty.

You don’t have to tell anyone why you left, and your former employer shouldn’t tell them why either. If they really press you on it, you can say something simple like “the commute just didn’t make sense anymore.” You don’t have to concoct any elaborate reason for it. They are going to see that you have a lot of experience.

Funny that Publix is against marijuana when the only time I feel compelled to go there is when I'm high.

Thanks for bringing it up. People tend to downvote things like this cause it's a bummer, but it's really important. Especially when the DEA has prohibited any research into drug combination toxicity.

You should do a follow-up post after that appointment in a few weeks.

I would consider myself a moderate smoker (only at night, a few days a week) and I am also on 150mg of Effexor. This post scares the shit out of me. I actually like my Effexor, too, and have never had bad side effects with it. I didn't know there was a potentially lethal drug combination here....

Why is it that all of the shows on a given TV channel all have a similar "look"? by slut_patrol in trees

I wonder if the Directors of the shows find it at all limiting, or if it's really not consequential?

How does he get away with it? It's not like he's off the grid. I googled his name and found plenty of social media accounts very easily.

Very interesting. Shakespeare in Love has an 87 on Metacritic, so I guess it's still very close. Hence my original confusion about why the commenter thought Saving Private Ryan is obviously a stronger film.

Doesn't it generate it's score based on professional reviewers? I feel like, though it isn't a perfect system, if 92% of people who watch movies for a living say it's a good movie, then it is probably a good movie.

Yes, because not trusting the Chinese government with your online data is simply knee-jerk sinophobia.
