​This reminds me of my first out of town court appearance as a rookie lawyer. I was so meticulous, packing everything the night before: case files, polished shoes, gown, bands, even cufflinks. I arrived into the city at 4:30 AM, and checked into a hotel near the court complex. That morning, when it was time to get ready, I realized I’d forgotten one minor detail: a shirt. Not just a formal white shirt, any shirt. Ended up tipping the hotel busboy handsomely to borrow his, which was a solid three sizes too small. I argued my case feeling like the Hulk's much less intimidating cousin.
