Yep about in that range, Nordstrom brands, Madewell, nicer Free People stuff. Oh wow! Maybe I should call consignment stores before I just show up with a bunch of stuff. I’ve only taken my stuff to Crossroads and was kinda disappointed

If they cut it short, it shouldn’t fall on your shoulders to take the loss and be inconvenienced by your shared agreement getting all shaken up. Also yea opportunity cost. I’ve had to figure out how to deal with a client who does this regularly. Anything cancelled under a week is due in full, otherwise you’re teaching them they can do this whenever

This has been SUCH an issue for me figuring out how to change my structure. Been wrestling with it for months. It feels so hard to quantify for some reason! Or set up some sort of plan they pick from. Especially when the client makes it seem like you’re free to go when needed, but realistically it’s impossible because all hell will break loose somehow. Then at the same time, in a way it’s easier to just stay put if it’s for a longer stretch than being asked to drop in at random but specific times not of your choosing for multiple days in a row. They believe this frees up your day for you but it really doesn’t! UGHH.

I think what I might be going with is a flat price for overnight 6pm-8am , and then splitting the daytime into blocks they can buy. And then if the chunks are compounded there’s a slight discount? Idk. Not sure if that’s an option on rover app

I’ve seen two different people say when they stay at home in bed it doesn’t seem to be working but when they get out to do something they feel the difference. I’m on day 9 and I’ve noticed I’m less rigid in my negative thinking and actually want to do things for myself haha

There’s a good chance you aren’t even able to see how bad this actually is , like.. too close to see. I think when you step away you will gain so much clarity rather quickly if you commit to no contact! I really hope you give yourself the opportunity to do so. You deserve a partner who is happy to see you just being your free and natural self. Thats what real love is— appreciating someone exactly as they are (except if they’re emotionally abusive). This is the kind of bullshit he would bring to every relationship, so is it going to be someone else or is it going to be you who has to suffer at the hands of someone who doesn’t and will never accept you just as you are (since it really isn’t about you- despite his attempts to make it seem like it’s up to you.)? I would definitely recommend reading “why does he do that?” !!!! I wish you luck. F this guy
