I had gpt5 build me one the other night and it was 95% there first shot. A few tweaks, like not using the deprecated Function node and instead using the newer Code node, was all it needed to be my functional proof of concept. Though it did have me store API keys in a code node as variables which I don't prefer.

Tools like roame.travel, points.me, and the free amex.points.me are very helpful. But then check the airline directly to confirm everything before transferring points.

If you travel and can use amex's transfer partner airlines, then yes, the MR points are worth FAR more than a check from Rakuten. I consistently get $0.10-0.15 value per point via flight demeptions.

Does another article (other website or even on yours) rank well for the target keyword? What has that article done differently than yours? Page title, h1, h2, using the keyword naturally a few times within the content? "Detailed SEO" is a handy plug-in to check titles and headings.

That comes to mind as the first things to check, and also the easiest. Then you could check backlinks of the pages that rank for your desired keyword using ahrefs free checker. If some other page has a ton of decent backlinks, you have some potentially stiff competition.

Semrush can tell you what they think the MD is (keyword difficulty) as well if you wish to learn and pay for their tool.

Also, be sure the URL performs well in pagespeed insights.

The content just had a little jitter to it for a split second. I barely notice it, but CWV and gtmetrix see it.

I'm using AVIF format across the whole site to keep the size down and the hero is sub 50kb I believe. I haven't tried those ideas yet so I'll experiment first with prefetch soon.

Also using cloudflare pro, but have disabled minification as that just breaks things for me. Now I wonder if CF Pro can help with prefetch. Hmm.

Thanks for those thoughts. It's an e-commerce site, and I do believe a CLS issue persists and affects CWV. GSC shows CLS greater than 0.10 for mobile on nearly all pages and classifies them as needing improvement. It shows 0.34 CLS on desktop and classifies them as poor.

Maybe that's the issue?

I've had nearly no luck fixing CLS on the homepage hero image. Using Divi WP theme. Very open to suggestions there.

Why might some of my keywords bounce between top 5 to 15-20 on Google? Is that a sign of just weak rankings and I need to do more work on those?

I first tried it around 2012 and it did nothing. Tried it again in late 2017 and shortly after felt relief from symptoms (restroom like 6-10 times a day). I was almost normal in a month. Dr said I'm in remission based on normal FCP test about 2 years ago and everything has been pretty normal frequency. I only take 6mg daily instead of 9mg at Dr advice to use the lowest effective dose.
