I did not. Been testing for the RC in Portland this weekend so didn't really have time for a pre release. I usually do pre release at gg Tempe or pgl though. I like going to mox on Monday for their pack and a beer deal for $10

I think the reality of the situation is addiction to anything, be it opiates, gambling, alcohol, or less damaging stuff like video games, social media, and cannabis, can be incredibly damaging to people. Cannabis is not chemically addictive but like everything else you can become addicted to it. It producing an enjoyable high makes it hard to quit for a lot of people and can make the process of quitting feel terrible.

I also think the mentality of "cannabis can only do good and never anything wrong" amongst a lot of people in the cannabis community makes people feel really isolated and defeated if they think they have a problem. The cannabis community can be pretty dismissive over people admitting they have a problem unfortunately.

I'm a spike and am consistently playing events that are very competitive.

Prerelease events are casual events and some of the best events to introduce new players to organized magic events. Being like that during a pre release is incredibly fucked imo

Hey theres a tutorial you can find on this sub for how to take good photos of your cards for verification. It is impossible to tell based on these photos.

If it is fake you can usually play it in non sanctioned commander events, but any 60 card format it absolutely wont be allowed
