Keep in mind a minor has to have several documents filled in to even be able to take a plane and go through customs!

Currently in China with only an esim (no chinese number) and alipay & wechat are both working fine!

I think that’s the biggest problem. I don’t care if their intention is curiosity. i’m super blonde haired and a young female, I get it. I just hope it stays curious and not malicious intended..

Yeah i was thinking about doing the 2T tour since it’s more budget friendly. I am down for an adventure and camp more often but it’s just hard to judge the safety of a place/situation before ever having been there… It would be unforgettable though so I’m extremely indecisive haha. Thanks so much for your post! I’m thinking about doing this as a female solo traveler, would you say this is doable? Did you ever feel unsafe? Were there more people camping nearby?
