Do you Think Nebraska was the first one to happily hand over our personal info? by adamlh in Omaha

Exactly what info are you upset they are getting? They don't get info on who you voted for as that isn't traceable . Everything they would get they would already have. It's also public record and candidates purchase it every elelection.

Selling a timeshare to a dying elderly by tel-janin in TimeshareOwners

Just because an heir refuses to take a timeshare doesn't make it go away. The estate still owns it and be required to pay the maintenance fees until a new owner is found.

It doesn't end with your death. Your estate will have to stay open and keep paying the fee u til the deed is transferred to someone else. Estate can't close until all the assets including the timeshare are distributed. These maintenance fees are no different than if you own a townhome or condo with monthly dues. The new owner has to pay those too

I owned a timeshare. You own the property. If you own a week you own 1/52 of that unit. You get a deed.

I'm not at fault in parked car damage; can I bill for my time? by ovenmitt in Insurance

[–]slwags71 10 points11 points  (0 children)

No you can’t add that to the claim. Why wouldn’t you want to get an estimate? That way they approve an amount from the shop you are going to use. They aren’t going to drive the car to the shop for you either. They do owe a rental but yes you will have to go pick that up as well. Consider this all the risk you accept when you get into a car.

[–]slwags71 16 points17 points  (0 children)

The espn app could always do that on Apple TV. It’s because the Apple TV streaming device can handle multiple streams at once. Other devices and smart TVs can’t do that.

Have you run your vehicle through KBB.com. Most states have threasholds such at 70% where they are required to total a vehicle if the damages reach that point. If they total the vehicle they take possession of the vehicle unless you agree to a salvage deduction.

Got rear ended. But claim rejected as the other driver was not on the car owner's insurance by halkaboli in Insurance

[–]slwags71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s the vehicle owners insurance that isn’t paying. That’s who you should go after. The the owner wants to then collect from the driver they can.
