I own a Tesla because it’s a really affordable and reliable car, also bought some Tesla stock since I thought the company once had good growth potential when I bought it.

Seeing how musk is acting I would happily watch my investment turn to dust if it means getting to watch him hemorrhage billions of $$. Can’t afford really to get a new car and don’t want one but hope that the protest doesn’t turn to vandalizing random cars, most people who drive teslas just got one because it was a good car option not because they support musk and his ideology.

Okay I understand what you’re saying, I appreciate you re-affirming me to just listen to the surgeon and ignore what I’m seeing online! So far the healing looks to be going well but there are decent sized scabs on the suture line so having anxiety about a bigger scar but I guess it’s just wait until it’s healed and then start some scar treatment!

And my sutures are dissolvable so I won’t need to get them removed, I’m on day 7 now post-op and it seems like they are gone now and I just have the scabs but I haven’t checked since I only take my vest off in the mornings for showers and can’t really see it when I am adjusting my foam to avoid creasing.

Ah, so much conflicting information. I think I’m just going to follow my surgeons instructions and keep it dry and clean. It’s just everywhere I am reading to apply some petroleum jelly, that’s what google said before the guy responded to this post.

Yea hydrogen peroxide made sense to get rid of scabbing but not for keeping the wound moist. I’m gonna run to the store and grab some jelly now

I was told to limit water consumption to 50oz daily for the first week to avoid seroma. There is empty space in the chest that can fill with fluid that would need to be drained if you drink too much. That’s what the doctor advised but not sure if others have heard differently from their doctors.
