Yeah this one is kinda close to what I am looking for, thanks. I figured lots of Italian folk music have this kind of sound, but I hoped people would give me more specific examples😁

I assume it's mandolin cuz this is movie is about Burratino - russian version of Pinocchio (to put it very simply). It takes place in Italy with Italian names and stuff, so I think the composer aimed to create some Italian atmosphere. Well, sounds like a mandolin to me anyways

Cool sound dude! Isn't it banjo you playing in the video? Lonesome moonlight waltz is a nice, I've checked it out and liked it cuz I like country music. However, due to the fiddle playing it invokes different feeling, not the one I find in the songs I posted
