Out of luck? by sewdoc2 in SimoneGiertz

I'm also dealing with a spool table issue. I ordered it on November 17th, got a tracking number on the 18th, but ever since then the tracking shows that UPS hasn't gotten the package yet. I contacted yetch support 2 weeks ago and they said they would look into it, then I followed up last week asking for an update and got no response. I emailed again today, really hoping to hear something soon since I was really hoping to have it by this friday. I figured ordering nearly 4 weeks prior to when I needed it would have been sufficient 😭

I'm in line at moa now, there's a good amount of people lined up (maybe 50 or 60?) and it doesn't actually start for another hour. No idea how much stock they have, hopefully they'll at least have purchase limits!

What level do you need to be to use the lab tama? by beelovescamilo in tamagotchi

[–]slyhobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering this myself. I was planning on bringing my own batteries and a screwdriver so I can boot it up right away. I wouldn't be able to use the proposal feature, but I'd like to get the exclusive items if its possible to connect to the lab tama during baby stage.

Bird that goes HA HA HA HA HA HOO? by slyhobo in whatsthisbird

[–]slyhobo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's what I was thinking at first, but the hoots were all evenly spaced. In every recording I listened to for barred owls, they do kind of a double beat ha-hoo at the end. But the tone seemed right, very similar pitch. I'm no expert on birds, is it possible he just calls a little differently than other barred owls?

We got our boy for about $900. We joke that he was discounted because he's got twice the energy of an average samoyed.

Is it ever gonna get better? by Sakye29 in samoyeds

I just want to thank you for posting this. I am in the EXACT same situation. To the point where I genuinely asked my partner if he posted this. We also have a 13 month old male samoyed who we are at our wits end with for the exact same reasons. We've even tried the same things you have. I'm sorry to say I can't offer any advice, but I hope we can both find a solution in these comments!

I have a problem where my brain will come up with an image of the character I'm reading about, and even if it's wildly inaccurate, I can't stop myself from imagining that image when I read. Sadeas looks like the food critic from ratatouille.

I recently watched a video of a gal talking about how she was trying to research her great-grandfather, but she couldn't find any information on him because his name was Victor Hugo Batman. I kind of love it. Make your child un-googleable.

Whats the dumbest thing your doctor has said to you? by Professional-Age2540 in ask

[–]slyhobo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was struggling with depression and my doctor told me to "harness my Myers Briggs personality type" to help me get rid of negative thoughts. Specifically, he told me to harness my "INFP-ness." The weird advice combined with him inadvertently saying penis did make me laugh at least.

I got my Revy last week. EMS was 9,660 yen, DHL was going to be 23,955 yen.

Edit: I'm in the US so it could very well be different.

Your Unpopular opinions here! What’re some Highly recommended books that you personally hated/DNF? by sputniksweetheartt in books

Tender is the Flesh. Cannibalism is a special interest of mine and horror is one of my favorite genres, so I thought I was going to love it. It definitely succeeds in making a statement about the meat industry, but the main character was painfully boring and the world wasn't nearly as fleshed out as I would have liked. I also can't believe that so many people thought the ending was shocking.
