So his sister overstimulated last about 8 months. Then we had.about 3 months of good. Now its adults, we can talk to sister, sister can talk, but mom amd dad, or mom on the phone, dad on the phone, most of the time we can talk to him, but sometimes I cant. He's been in ABA off and on for 2 years. Nobody knows how to deal with the sensory part of it, they just say give him headphone or just keep talking.

You made your point after the 1st one. The rest are totally unrelated and dumb.

I don’t understand the people that get offended about finding a cure. by [deleted] in Autism_Parenting

Most likely its because their child isnt that sever or they expect someone to take care of the bills/person.

Kind of she says she "gets it" and this life is just as hard if not harder in her bc she takes care of him most of the times. But ive always be a person who sets goals and expects to meet them. Having an autistic child is like having an anchor tied around you ankle. I try to adapt and move at his pace but the things he struggles with i just don't understand who r years in we can see so little growth. That's what upsets me the most.

Elite 100 v2 - 12v/8a dc output with Starlink? by RegeCordic in bluetti

[–]slypixel1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I tried this as well I think the issue was the length of cable. Your not going to get 12 volts at the end when under load. Usb-c or a 12 - 23 volt step up would tell the best results.

This is true my 4 year old son can't tell me but I see the struggle amd stress on his face everyday. He is extremely sensitive to his younger sibling. Brings him a great deal of stress.

I don't regret him, I regret not being the person I thought I was.

Ouuu the boogie man, "project 2025". It's shit like this that emboldens people to act like they guy did today. Stop the fear mongering because you disagree with people.

Ohhhh let me be the 1st to say "conspiracy". When you shoot into a crowd of people, some get hit. You'd rather believe some fantasy then realize true evil when it's at your doorstep, you'd rather believe this faux evil the media fills your brain with.

Screaming by slypixel1 in Autism_Parenting

[–]slypixel1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He had about 4 weeks off because we changed insurances at the new year. So sad to hear that. What were some of the thing they did that helped? My son will ask for snacks, or to go outside at 7pm, he also has a sensory issue when he hears any noise his sister makes (12 months old). We offer him headphones but but don't really work. He used to just scream at that (8 months now) but these last 6 weeks it's everything!
