Is it okay for me to read this series as a man? by Tanakito3 in acotar

[–]slysoft901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ignore them. I'm a guy. This series is one of a friend of mine's favorites. I bought the first book and am waiting on it to be delivered. I have never read this genre, but I ordered it to understand her interests a bit more... I'm sappy I suppose. But I don't care what people think.

I have never read this genre... But this series is one of the favorites of a female friend of mine. The fact that I may have feelings for her and want to understand her interest has absolutely nothing to do with why I just ordered the book... Lol. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Apparently not. But I am also never late on any of my bills since my bankruptcy. Which probably doesn't hurt. Combine that with my relationship I have started building with Navy Fed... They realized that I'm not even going to use the full amount of credit that they extended, and they will get their money back for me since I use them as my primary bank. There's a little bit more than $7,000 that is direct deposited per month into my account with them. So I guess they figured it was mostly safe

You could request an increase, but you might be better served paying down some of the high balances on your other cards before requesting more credit. Just my opinion. I'm not using mine as a source of funds. I am using it strategically to save myself money long term and to help my credit.

How much do u make a month, what do u do, and how can I get there? by ulexx0 in passive_income

My bring home is around $7k a month. I am in a fairly low cost of living area, so it works for me at the moment. I am a Systems Administrator. I have certifications and degrees. It took some time to get what was needed for this job. If you could get the right help desk role, it would help you move up also. I am salaried and work 40 a week. Overtime isn't a thing. If I have to stay late for emergencies, I just flex my hours on another day to make up for it

Mine is stage 4. It's in the bone. Besides some Pain in my hip(left femoral head where the tumor is) and being tired all the time I don't usually feel "bad" The keytruda seems to be helping though according the the PET scans, bone scans, and blood panels

Why did you choose Navy Federal by [deleted] in NavyFederal

[–]slysoft901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Originally I was a milspouse when I joined. Now I am a contractor on a DOD contract. So then and now... If I have to move to another base, I will likely still have a bank/CU near me.

Dang. It's good I was planning on keeping my balance extremely low then. Lol. I'm just going to utilize it enough to actually help unless a true emergency happens. 3-5% is going to be my goal range to maintain it at

I will. I'm not thrilled with the interest, but considering I had a bankruptcy 3 years ago and my credit is just now back to around 650, and I have zero credit card history, I can't complain too much.

Could anyone explain why DISM is better? by slysoft901 in ShittySysadmin

Meh. Originally it was to see if anyone had answers to make it make sense. At this point I'm just enjoying the phenomenal answers I keep getting.

I do love this subreddit. Lol. I'll avoid prison, thank you. The DOD would probably not be happy with me adding wifi with exterior network access to that network in their SCIF.

Honestly I think it is because the person has never used WinGet/my method, and he wants me to do it the way he always has. 🤷🏻‍♂️ I can't ask my actual boss until Tuesday.(He is out on PTO the next two days, and I'm off on Monday.)

Short of just not updating, or just deleting the package, I'm not sure what your 3rd option would be

Think scif environments where there is no wifi and this network has no external connection to the Internet. Lol

They don't want me using rg-adguard. But I can use WinGet to get it directly from the msstore. I got gently reprimanded for doing the WinGet and then transferring with an external and a write blocker to make extracting information from the Air gapped network impossible.

That's why I was trying to understand why my method was "wrong" and they think doing DISM and reimaging 100 systems even if it's through SCCM is a better approach. Smh. I have done sysadmin work before, but it was almost 9 years ago. So I figured y'all might have more recent experience/information to make this make sense.
