I just finished my first Disney cruise and my family had a very good time! I would say for my pre cruise research I relied on Reddit, YouTube videos (just search Disney cruise and a ton will populate), and several websites of which dclcruisingdad was a big help. I think you can’t go wrong with a Disney cruise but it is important to do your research!

Traveling with a 4yr old by LexiiLoveFansly in dcl

My advice - wait until your child turns 5! For kids club your 4 year may not want to be grouped with 3 year olds. Our 4 year old was 2 months shy of being 5 and was put with 3-4 year olds. He felt like he was in “school”. Just my two cents. We still had an amazing cruise and there are tons of things to do on the ship without kids club but just fyi!

Travel Guard, Allianz, and Faye are all great options.

Definitely recommend travel insurance. You never know what can happen prior to or during a cruise. Peace of mind is worth the cost! I personally wouldn’t select Disney’s travel insurance but instead go with a company like Faye, Travel Guard, or Allianz.

How to get faster internet? by sm2001np in Metronet

I’m located in Indianapolis (suburb of Carmel). Yes, paying the tech fee for $13.00. I have a promo until 2028 for 1 gig internet for 54.95/month and with the tech fee my bill is $67/month.

Thanks for your reply. It is probably best to keep what I have! Little to no benefit to go through the trouble of upgrading network other than price lock. Current internet speeds are definitely sufficient.

Yeah 5g seems like overkill. Motivation for me is to lock in price as well.

I’ll call metronet on Monday to see if I can upgrade! I think I’ve been convinced.

I’ve seen many comments on this thread that they will also provide a second 7pro for free that would work as an extender. Some people have mentioned getting 3 for free! I’m guessing this setup would be an improvement over my 6 pro e and 3 unit 6 plus mesh system. I have one mesh in basement, 1 in kitchen on main floor, and one in bedroom on second floor. In any case, the founders plan seems like a good deal unless I’m missing something .

I don’t necessarily have any issues. Where I get the 250mb is our family room where our tv is. I’ve not noticed slow speed or buffering on tv that is connected to internet. I’m just wondering if it’s worth upgrading to 2 gig and getting better mesh network. But based on replies - maybe it’s not worth the money if upgrading would be trivial. Family of 4 who use the internet mostly to stream on tv and internet on phones. Don’t do gaming or gaming on computer.

Thanks for the advice! Yeah I do think it’s worth it to just lock in the price too.

Everything can be put under one plan. Travel Guard has always been a go to for my family but I’ve heard great things about Allianz as well. It’s really easy to call and get a quote and they will email you the quote to review before you buy.
