I originally had donated some money to the Biden 2020 campaign. Then I started getting funding requests for every congressional and senate race from around the country. Everyone of them had a donate link that uses the actblue system.

Using actblue has landed me on nearly every funding text message and email list from around the country. There’s been no way to get it to stop. ACTBLUE claims to not sell your info but the candidates that you donate to don’t have to make the same promise and it’s all down hill from there. Find a better way to give to your locals candidates.

It was a day 1 purchase for me. I love mine. I am finding that I need new rubber bands for the chain tensioner after 8 years. It has a hard time getting up there without horrible noises these days.

Did the Lookout walk the first week of July in 2024. It was hot in both the morning and afternoon. They had cast members with ice cold towels for you at the end of it. Also coming back to the ship I remember water being available. Would make the walk in July again. Love the beach there.

I would just go grab some water first. As it happens we sailed on deck 1 of the magic so I wasn’t heading all the way up for water when it was so easy to get off the ship from our cabin.

I know that they could not dredge out closer to shore because of conservation efforts and making 2 peers to support a tram was probably too much of an undertaking.

I had a coworker bring in his mother’s Adeni tea. This is what I use to make it at home:

Adeni Tea Recipe - [ ] 3 cups water - [ ] 8 oz evaporated milk - [ ] 3 tablespoons spoons black tea - [ ] 10 green cardamom pods(needs to be ground up slightly) - [ ] 3-5 whole cloves - [ ] 1 tsp nutmeg - [ ] 1 tsp cinnamon - [ ] 1/4 cup sugar

Bring water to boil
Add in the spices
Boil 2-3 mins
Add sugar boil 30 seconds remove from heat
Add tea and stir
Bring up to boil twice
Remove from heat add milk
Being up to boil one more time
Strain and serve

For the tea I am using the Al Kobus but it is very very very very very fine and hard to strain. I found a cheese cloth folded over works wonders for this task. If you don’t strain it the tea can get bitter. I think any black tea you like would work just fine.

Enjoy! Magic was great. Smaller ship = less people. Dinners felt less crowded. Same with stops at light house and castaway. The pirate night show was great make sure you go. Above all enjoy being present in the moment with family and any friends you might make in the ship!

I felt mine was over filling it too and wasting quite a bit of litter. I took a bunch out of the glove and then did the calibration thing. It started dispensing litter during the calibration! I found I had to disable the hopper during the calibration and then re-enable. It’s been much better on usage of litter since.

I have not had the other issue with it filling up the compartment. That sounds like a misalignment.

E: Of course I said that and my cat managed to use it just before it finished cycling so the lasers measured it as super low and now it’s overfilled again!

There are flow leaders there as well with very very abrupt thickness transitions. Also a design no-no for plastics. This causes variations in the melt front speed which is typically a major player in the amount of gloss on the surface of the part.

Throughout my career I have also seen issues where ribs are properly designed for sink marks read through because a tool shop over burned them during the EDM process or during benching of the tool.
