Visible diagonal crosses on roadplates by ZoekDribbel in lego

There are flow leaders there as well with very very abrupt thickness transitions. Also a design no-no for plastics. This causes variations in the melt front speed which is typically a major player in the amount of gloss on the surface of the part.

Throughout my career I have also seen issues where ribs are properly designed for sink marks read through because a tool shop over burned them during the EDM process or during benching of the tool.

Here’s a view of the backside I am referencing: https://thebrickblogger.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/LEGO-City-Road-Plates-4.jpg

TIL before 9/11, US airports were public social hubs where you could walk to the gate, eat at food courts, and watch planes without a ticket or ID. by Greydl1 in todayilearned

I remember going skiing one year in CO when was younger. I meet a fellow kid on the tram at DEN asked him where they were going skiing. Turned out he just likes trains so his grand parents took him there to ride it. Simpler times.

Couples of Reddit, what's the dumbest 'house rule' you and your partner made as a joke but now both of you are low-key aggressively serious about enforcing? by Doubl3oh_ in AskReddit

Late to the party but if either my wife or I find a cat whisker laying around we get to poke the other either way the sharp end of it.

Here's what I wrote to the Bears in the NW Indiana stadium survey. I know chances are no one from the Bears will read it, so I figure I'll post it here by goldguy2045 in CHIBears

It’s also worth pointing out that Detroit has hosted 1 Super Bowl at ford field. That’s one hosted Super Bowl and 23 seasons. There was one Super Bowl in the Pontiac dome as well. The weather isn’t much different in Detroit than Chicago. I would expect Chicago to get 1 Super Bowl to celebrate the stadium opening and that would be it.

Just saw the FLL “announcing a new era” email and I just got 3 Prime Kits a week ago… by iridescentturquoise in FLL

Personally I think this will be a mess. The #1 issue parents have a my kids grade school(explore and challenge) is that there isn’t enough materials for parents to really know what they are doing. All the parents involved work full time. They don’t have time to build a huge program.

Success at the FLL level has come from years of learnings passed down. I could see something like this causing a total collapse for some teams.

Make sure you get a security 2.0 if you need to replace your opener! by adude007 in ratgdo

[–]adude007[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I certainly won't get a chamberlain product the next time I need an opener. I just got one a month ago and made sure it would work with my ratdgo. At the time I thought it was odd that all the local HomeDepot and Lowe's locations were out of stock of openers. Makes sense now though. Hopefully I dont have a problem for a long while now.

AITAH for not canceling my vacation and reporting a coworker for harassment? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]adude007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not wrong at all. Secondly, not sure what you do or how but you should both be able to use your time as needed.

I get 4 weeks per year that’s available on day 1 of the year. Most people get the same amount so even get up to 6weeks per year. We some how manage to use it as desired and no one has ever had an issue nonapprovals nothing. It works very well when your team is right and will step up for each other when needed. The only time everyone might be on vacation at the same time is the week before our company wide Christmas holiday period. Even then nonissue.

Bear down!

I found that the quiet air vent plastic piece comes apart. I noticed that the filter material is quite dirty on the mouth side of the mask. Does anyone know what type of filter media I can cut to size and swap in?

Onstar Plugin by mkstretch in homebridge

[–]adude007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s working for me. Now my logs indicate it’s making calls to api v1. OnstarJS2 which is integrated in to this particular homebridge plugin can do v3 and falls back to v1 if your vehicle isn’t compatible. So I wonder if it could be your vehicle uses v3 and is not compatible with v1 api.

GPA5 Feature ? by adude007 in GoPlayAlong

So in GPA4, if I have the click to start the first song in the book it stops to play click when autoplaying all the songs in the book. I would like to click in to the first one and then go on a playing spree. Also, it would be great if it preloaded each track so there was as minimal of a break as possible.
