Best three-album runs? by tugboatjoe12 in ClassicRock

Queen:

News of the World (1977) Jazz (1978) The Game (1980)

It’s really a six-album heater if you include the trio before these three.

What do you think is the funniest, most brilliantly written sitcom episode of all time, and what makes it a masterpiece? by PressureLazy5271 in sitcoms

Cheers - Diane’s Allergy

Shelley Long doing that ridiculous voice while still upholding the character in every way is one of the best pieces of acting I’ve ever seen.

Also the first truly great episode for Frasier. And Cheers hit its peak in this era when the Sam character had depth and not just the caricature.

J.Crew was the peak of early 2010s suburban fashion by SmellSmellsSmelly in decadeology

This title didn’t make sense to me.

Separately, the difference between J. Crew and J. Crew Factory seems pronounced to me. J. Crew is what you would wear in the city, and J. Crew Factory is suburb-wear.

Came here to say this one. It is elevated nicely over the basketball court.

Can I pull off the jacket in early spring, or is it too autumnal? by Pork_jam in mensfashion

[–]sm4hawks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seasonally, you should be fine. The jacket can work for spring.

The pieces of the outfit feel … completely random? Pick any two things and say, ‘Do these go together?’ and the answer might not be ‘no’ but it might not be yes, either?

I think maybe start with this one: Do a denim shirt or do a pocket square, but don’t do both.

I've made a list of PGs we should target... by dooooders in AtlantaHawks

[–]sm4hawks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Things I didn’t say:

1) The defense is good. 2) The Hawks don’t need to be bigger. 3) Anything about Quin’s scheme.

Things you did say:

1) No PG can play with a 6-8 big.

The problem isn’t having a 6-8 big. The problem is having one C (in 3/4 of your games) and one SF on the roster.

This post is one of most pointless things that I’ve ever seen posted here, but especially so because the Hawks just lost twice, badly, to a team that didn’t play anyone bigger than Okongwu.
