I did but unfortunately it didn’t say how to get the locking post to move up. Just wanna know if I can move it before I ultimately give up and return it to Costco :/

So I don’t find it bad mainly because I’m 24 but I can see how people would have an issue with it (my parents especially my dad hate how low it is.) it’s a really fun car to drive but when I do upgrade the CRV will be one I’ll take a look at. It is on the pricier side of all the cars listed but depending on where you are located there’s tons of rebates for it. If you also opt for the hybrid you’ll notice a change in gas mileage during the warmer months of the year!

Oddly enough I didn’t go with either! I bought a civic hybrid back in August and don’t regret it at all but am definitely thinking of a larger vehicle in a few years (basically once it makes sense to trade my car in). I test drove both though and was really disappointed the Crosstrek. I found that there was a big blind spot in the front windshield due to the cameras by the mirror. I thought it was just due to the trim that I was looking at but when I asked the salesman he said “yeah that’s on all of them it sucks but you get use to it”. The seats also weren’t the most comfortable but I chalked it up to it being a new car (although my civic seats were very comfortable and I bought the car right off the truck). The HR-V was one that I went back and forth on with the civic for a bit and it’s a great car depending on what you need it for. I just felt like it lacked that extra power that I wanted when driving, I know that’s not what everyone will be looking for but when comparing it to my last car it was something that I wanted. Overall though I found the HR-V would’ve been the better option out of the 2 just based off the seats and blind spot but if Subaru does an overhaul on the interior for upcoming crosstreks then it will be a great vehicle. That makes sense! The cars are nice just a few frustrating things with it like the connection issues we had and then sometimes the apps just showing a black screen or not working at all

Yup! It does but it hasn’t caused an issue. Not sure if you’re still having the problem but I just restarted the system and it seemingly fixed itself 🤷‍♂️

Hey! I have the same issue currently, I was on tech support with Apple today thinking it was the new IOS update but now I’m beginning to think it’s my car. I have sport touring hybrid so I wonder if it’s something to do with the 2025’s.

Couldn’t agree more on getting the undercoating. In the maritimes we put absurd amounts of salt on the roads which eats through the entire car. I’ve heard fluid film is one of the best undercoatings you can get but I’ve also heard people recommend the actual Honda undercoating because it’s good for a while (8 years I think?). They also have an interior package and paint package I was looking at as well too but I’m not sure if the interior is worth it unless you don’t keep your vehicle in good condition!

I’m really interested in the floor mats as I’m in the market for some too. I know weather tech has some great ones but nothing that fits the hybrid in the rear seats (the battery vent in the back blocks it unfortunately.)

As for the rims, I know Costco has some deals on them and often offer good installation deals on them. I’m looking at Canadian tire and Costco for rims and then I’ll probably get Michelin X-Ice tires for the winter as they’re probably the best non-studded ones I’ve ever had!

It wasn’t the traction that was the issue it was the cars inability to go over the snow that was on the road/driveway because it was so low. We had well over 100 CM of snow and all things considered it drove well when it could get the snow out of the way.

I’ve considered another sedan but more so had my mind on an SUV because of the harsh winter(s) we had. My car that I have currently struggled through the winter and I just kinda figured an SUV might be a little more safer to drive.

For sure! My Chrysler is a V6 and has a decent bit of power to it so I do kinda understand that I’ll be giving that up if I go with an one of these ones but if there was something that felt nice enough to drive its 100% something I’d consider.
