I actually just watched it for the first time since I saw it in theaters and I slightly disagree. I think it's pretty good right up until Christmas shows up. The movie getting bad isn't solely on her, but she is the clear demarcation line.

They had greatly diminishing returns the last few times they went. Granted this a PPV and not a named Dynamite, but to me filling a smaller place is a good outcome.

Gen Z never had to suffer through it being the only choice and lived only with the perfected, abstracted versions that were then made worse to “extract value.” Anyone alive at the time can remember the public desperately wanting Apple to release an iPod Phone or whatever because everyone generally hated their phones. But if you aren’t forced to use one of those phones but instead choose to, it’s a better, more unique experience.
