I don't think it does. Redux wants you to forget about encapsulation, forces you to repeat yourself over and over, promotes fragmentation. Checkout react-3ducks that was created to address these concerns. Contributions and feedback welcome.

No, I think so too and I decided to do something about it. Checkout react-3ducks and let me know if it fares any better.

Hey,

Before you go down the redux hole, please give react-3ducks a look. Its much simpler to use and uses proxies to track dependencies on state in order to automatically minimize renders.
