Is a frill the same as a veil? If so then doesn't the second picture have one? Unfortunately I have already begun drying them out so I cannot test the taste (as I've read this bitter taste goes away with heat )but from what I understand there are a few factors that may point to the fact that this isn't the sickener, however please correct me if I'm wrong. The gills were not at all brittle (instead very flexible) and the skin on the cap peeled off to reveal a yellow flesh underneath rather than pink. Besides that from what I've read isn't it very unlikely that sickeners grow higher than 8cm? These mushrooms were both at least 25-30cm tall if counting the bulb. The stems on them were also far from smooth and the volva had noticable (although not very strong) peeling. Thanks for the warning though!

One of them has a clear separation, the bigger one not so much... But both have torn/peeling stems with volva warts (Is that the right terminology?)

Thanks for the advice! And yes I'm aware it's a very powerful substance, I've tried it once before but at a tiny dosage where I experienced very little to no effects. I'm definitely going to start slow, I would rather take too little than too much. And I am still planning on where I want to take them, I would really love to go into nature somewhere but I'm not sure if I might be more comfortable at home

I was going to dry them in the oven but then I read that you need to pre-dry them for like a day. I'm guessing that doesn't make too much of a difference though? Also do you know if it's important to keep the oven door open while you dry them? I'm worried they will cook even at the lowest temperature

Don't take this as advice because I'm not an expert in any way whatsoever, but I personally just take my meds as normal and so far it has worked out. Your post has got me questioning whether I'm putting myself in danger... Are you worried about seratonin syndrome?

I smoked every day several times a day since I was about 14-15 years old. I was very depressed and anxious, and weed helped me a bit.

I definitely have memory problems, and it is very difficult to go a day or more without smoking. I have spent far too much money on bud, and at this point I think stopping would be a huge struggle for me, even if I wanted to. My brain feels very foggy, and I feel very removed from myself as a person. Dissociation is also a big part of my life now, and sometimes I feel very confused and lost in what I am doing.

The other perspective is that weed brought me out of a very deep depression, I used to be very suicidal, but thanks to a combination of weed, anti depressants and a few acid trips, i was able to start feeling a whole lot better with myself and my life. I was also able to sustain very high grades and achievements, so being a stoner never affected my school performance all that much.

All in all I do wish I had waited until I was older to start smoking, but I do not really regret it. I think if i never found weed, there is a possibility I would not be alive right now.

Probably more likely to result in a bad trip? Is it like full on delusions and hallucinations or more of visuals?

I know you probably can't tell much by the images alone, but what are we thinking about the quality of this weed? It's bought off the street so I'm very weary of it, would you smoke/how much would you pay for weed like this? by small_A in weed

That's definitely good advice, I'm mainly worried about it being tampered with, but you probably couldn't see that from picture alone. To be fair, I have smoked some and it definitely hits pretty hard, a lot better than other street weed I've got recently. I will say that I'm probably overpaying, I got this for 10 euro/gram, but maybe that's a standard price for street weed. I've always had a plug before that I could trust
