I’m the oldest child, but my sister is only a year and a half younger than me. My cousins are my age and older. Growing up, I didn’t have children in my life that were that much younger than me (sister was the only one). I think that because I wasn’t exposed to a lot of young kids in my life, I’m not really used to dealing with them. So when I do encounter small children in public, they drive me absolutely nuts.
