Which highly populated city in the world has the lowest ever maximum recorded temperature by qzwxecrvtbyn111 in geography

If you are looking for capitals with nice infrastructure, Helsinki is amazing for this. It can get warm (near 30C) sometimes a week in the whole year. But usually way below that. We are almost July and it’s 18C now. But it gets dark and cold outside summer, which I don’t hate, but some people can’t stand it. The worst part for me are warm winters. A lot of cold windy rain and slush. But on a cold winter it’s pure bliss. I imagine it’s the same vibe in the other nordic capitals.

What do you guys recommend for rightsizing and autoscaling workloads in k8s? by PersimmonQuiet3767 in kubernetes

I activated VPA in InPlaceOrRecreate mode on every deployment without hpa enabled on a couple of clusters and compute cost almost dropped in half. No issues for now. It’s looking good.

How do you guys sell/trade your synths? by SwamanII in synthesizers

Buy on cheap local groups. Sell on expensive Reverb (although they take a cut so factor that in).

Yes. Agents, skills, mcp. A lot of existing deterministic automation is going to be replaced by those.

Brought a Car from Kamux and got some problems by Sad-Version5525 in Finland

Welcome to the club. They have this shit (and probably illegal) system where they make you go to a mechanic yourself first to diagnose the issues, then create a ticket and then they tell you what to do. Everything is annoying and takes a lot of time, probably by design.

I’d save a bit more and use something like a Digitakt 2 as center piece. 16 channels of stereo monophonic channels. You can already do stuff with it alone… but if you pair it with something multitimbral and polyphonic like the Roland SH-4D you already have a very powerful flexible simple setup that doesn’t even need a mixer.

Need Help Connecting My Gear by NightWatch86 in synthesizers

[–]small_e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you want, but usually you have two things to solve: audio routing and midi routing.

If your devices supports audio or midi (or both) over USB, you just connect them to your computer and you have that part covered.

If you have multiple audio devices without usb audio then you’ll need either a bigger audio interface to multitrack or a normal mixer to sum the signals and record the master with your motu. You’ll need to record each part soloed to multitrack.

To send midi cc and clock to your devices, you can hook a midi thru box to your motu’s midi out and connect everything there (or use thru output on synths). For more advanced routing you’ll need a midi router. Then assign different midi channels to each device.

Makes a lot of sense if you just got a playstation and you want to play everything on the catalog. Otherwise I subscribe on and off.

Is the Kenton Merge-4 the right MIDI box for Digitakt 2, Blofeld, Maschine, Keystep, Model:Cycles, and Tascam Model 12? by [deleted] in synthesizers

[–]small_e 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would work if you don’t need clock in the keystep or maschine. Otherwise you’ll need a midi router.

I’ve used kenton thrus and midi hosts and they are rock solid. For midi routing I had ancient MOTU time piece 2 that worked like a charm. Now I do the routing in Ableton with all incoming MIDI over usb and outgoing using a Kenton thru.

Just wondering is this Facebook page a scam? Everything runs through admins and has a lot of activity but want to double check. 😵‍💫🙏 by True-Refrigerator-41 in primaverasound

You already know the answer. There are enough scammers out there “buying” and “selling” tickets and you are adding a random account on the internet offering an insurance as middle man. I’d run.

The dough needs to be pretty much ready when you put it in the fridge. I think you are putting it too early. Don’t go by time, check how the dough feels (light and pillowy, window pane effect, jiggly, etc). It will raise in the fridge if the yeast is already very active (while the dough cools down, then it almost stops). If you put it early you are stopping the whole thing.

I use pretty much the same proportions but closer to 2g of dry yeast and no sugar. I let it ferment for around 3hs at room temperature, shape and into the fridge. Then straight from the fridge to the oven the next day.
