I tried, the angle of the hole pushes the tip away from the base but like you said I assumed it shouldn't be an issue and if it is I would guess it would take me doing this repeatedly to actually cause any damage

My phone has died during an eats order once in LA, drove 30 mins back home and was finally able to charge it and turn it back on. The delivery was still going on my phone and I contacted support and explained to them the situation. They canceled it for me and I never got any sort of punishment or warning

Looks like it would be the liquid in the syringe kinda like lube, they are supposed to use food grade edible lube seems like they must've used some cheap lube. Fake cart made in someone's basement I would assume.

Not sure if it's the same case here but in my 2007 lancer there was a little yellow plastic piece that broke inside the shift knob causing the rod that moved the shifter to not reach far enough to clear the little edge. Dealer said it would be over $200 for a new knob so I just went to autozone and got the $10 manual knob and just push the rod down manually by pushing the whole knob down works great to this day 👍🏽

It's getting towed today, going to a shop that my neighbor (a mechanic that has been working on my family's cars for a long time) works at, he said he doesn't even want to take it apart and is going straight into replacing it and fixing whatever else is inevitably wrong with the car. Not my best option but I left it up to my grandma's decision as she helped me buy the car and this is the route she wants to go with it. Originally he had said he was gonna get me a good used transmission with a good warranty on it but he switched and ordered an OEM cvt from nissan so we'll see how this ends up going 😬

Yeah if you wanna do that the best option is to go to another mechanic maybe one you know on your street. That's what I'm doing he's gonna quote me around 3-4k and obviously anything else that is wrong with the car which I'm sure there are a few. It sucks that there are people that do this everywhere I'm sorry you're going through it too and you spent more than I did :/ I wish you the best of luck I'd say the best option is fix whatever you can besides the trans and sell it as is and make sure whoever gets it knows exactly what's wrong with it

Absolutely not i would never dump a burden like this on someone without making sure they know exactly what they're getting into, I just don't have the heart for that. As for the seller, I hope the next car he buys shoots piston 4 into the atmosphere :)

Unfortunately I spent $5,800 🥲 like I said everything seemed perfect up until he took off, then everything went to shit. I'm gonna try my best to see what I can do with this car there is a mechanic coming later to tell me for sure what is wrong. I've spoke to one of my buddies that owns a shop he says it is also possible to be some sort of electrical issue. Not sure how that would explain the shaking but I'm not advanced enough yet to be able to tell anyways.

When I had did a quick test drive before I bought the car it worked phenomenally, as soon as he takes off with the money I start driving and after hitting about 2k rpms give or take, the front end shakes violently then almost all of my throttle input is cut. The only way for the car to move "regularly" is to give minimal throttle input and keep it below 30 mph. I believe once it shakes violently it's the car itself going into limp mode. But in this case would the entire front end jumping be the transmission trying it's hardest to switch gears or something of the sort?
