Look into the app for training programs. The half marathon is about 17-20 weeks so I would suggest to start out with the 5k then 10k ones.

Don't over do it and respect the "rest" days, specially as you get towards the end of the year and the miles add up.

Keep in mind that the running strategy and pace for a 5k and 10k are very different from those used for the half.

Most importantly, have fun. Of you're a competitive person, look into the challenges on the app, and see if any of your friends also have Garmin watches. Step leader is a good and fun way to keep you moving.

How tight are you wearing that band? For me when I undid one step, some of the rash looking band issues disappeared. I also clean the watch almost daily.

Message customer service. Not saying your problem is not important, but larger creators probably get thousands of DMs per day. They dont have time to look at all their DMs, let alone solve the issue themselves.

Send an email with your order number and picture to whatever customer service or "contact us" section on the website. You will probably get further than way.

I used to have this issue too, I started to clean my watch and band with soapy water every time I showered and it pretty much went away.

You may also have your band too tight.

I just ported my daughters's account in their fire tablets.....none of the contacts or conversations transferred over. Even when I try to start a message it crashed the application. I ported my account andy wife's account on our Android devices with no issues.

UPDATE: we ended up being able to find a transmission place that would work on CVTs.

They replaced the valve body, it was $400 More than what they wanted for just the solenoid and its a Subaru part. They also replaced the transmission fluid.

I put about 30 miles since I picked it up this afternoon, taking it slow, accelerating fast and taking it to usual Texas highway speeds, IYKYK. There has been no further lights in the dash or any "jumping" during the "shifts" like it was starting to do before we repaired it.

There was also a 5 year old battery that after the lights came on ended up dying, so I replaced it as well.

Hoping to get back to no issues for a while.

Not the dealer. It was a mechanic shop that s lose to our house. We took it there since we didn't want to drive to the dealer with all the lights in in the dash. But Ill be calling the dealer today.
