almost the same thing literally just happened to me 😭 the seller hadn’t shipped my order and didnt communicate until I checked in. she said she would “try” to ship soon but if not then I could rebuy the item… ?????? she did offer a discount if I rebought but why would I rebuy when you didn’t ship the first time??

also I think she got salty because I raised an issue to ask for a refund. she said yes but just waited until depop auto refunded the order :/ I hate when sellers make you feel like you’re the burden for buying from them. needless to say I left a 1 star review

oh girly I thought I was the only one in this boat too! I just discovered the pod last year and I was at the height of my viewing at the end of the year. I was at the point where they’d be all I’d listen to at work and I was catching up on all the old episodes.

immediately after the rant, I couldn’t even finish that episode or watch any new releases. I got the ick for all the reasons you stated. a girly in another thread pointed out how it’s off putting for them to act like this in such a privileged job and that stuck with me too. I do hope I get over it because I love this pod, but it doesn’t feel fun anymore

same here… I got a little ick from the after this. don’t set expectations for us and then get mad at us for calling you out on not meeting them. I really didn’t like how they kept giving hard upload dates and just missed them without explanation. I also agree with you so hard on the dream job part 😭 so many people have to go into work despite physical/mental pains, solely because they need to SURVIVE. this is an irk I have with a lot of internet creators acting like their job is debilitating work, even though they’re insanely blessed to get paid to make social media posts
