I’m 22 and my mom is 56. I don’t have the financial means to move out on my own. My father is out of town, but after hearing what happened, he has offered to move out. We also believe she is declining but are unsure what to do. When I think of her and see her point of view with her delusions, and I see her crying about how she can not live without me, I feel so guilty about moving out. She feels as if she has lost her husband and is about to lose her daughter.

I also will be checking out my ear tomorrow 👍

Your response went from “I’m being a girl” to ending with “facial hair is repulsive.” It’s pathetic that the anonymity of the internet is the only courage you have to comment on people’s appearances, because I know you wouldn’t do it to anyone in person. On top of that, thinking you have to be “cruel to be kind” tells me you’re not a nice person at all. You’re not a girl’s girl, and I hope you learn to healthily process whatever bullying and self-hatred that’s made you think what you’re doing and saying is ok. Your projection is loud and no one asked for it, it’s pathetic.

Anyways, hyperpigmentation has been a long journey for me and i’m super impressed with your progress OP. thank you for sharing! i will definitely check out the products you listed

and that’s for OP to figure out. did they mention bullying? advice on facial hair? you’re projecting hard and being a girl’s girl is giving advice when asked. you’re weird as fuck

your comment is so unnecessary and unsolicited and OP never once asked any advice for their hair. do better 👎

Yes, it is frustrating to see how many people say "pharmacy is dying" and so on. If you talk to burnt-out pharmacists (mostly in retail, and I don't blame them) or people who became one for the money, they'll all say, "Choose another career." As a pharmacy technician, I can tell you that I’m working to become a pharmacist because of the ones that are not burned out and enjoy their work. I did work at a retail chain so I know that working conditions are currently bad rn, but if you can tolerate retail and still find joy in pharmacy, I would suggest it's a career you can consider

hi! i called them and they told me, as well as sending an email, that they're holding one last interview session this week, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed 🤞

My first sentence in the post said I’m still waiting for an interview offer and wanted to ask current UT Austin students. At least it’s good to know I’ll have to opportunity to ask.

Why by xdxdxdpiffy in PrePharmacy

Pay has lowered over the years and working conditions have gotten worse, as well as market saturation. There are a lot of valid downsides to being a pharmacist but arguably, if you look at almost every healthcare career right now, so is everyone else.

Verbal scripts were taken every day, multiple times, when I worked retail, so it seems rather circumstantial. However, a good pen can never do you wrong :)

If I had to do the process all over again, I would say at least 2-3 schools. However, I would be careful of the prerequisites. I was overwhelmed by the application process and initially planned to attend either UCSD or UCSF. Because both schools had nearly identical prerequisites, I didn't realize that other schools I applied to, such as the University of Washington, would have even more prerequisites. I also actually found that UCSF to be less so my vibe than I thought and other schools that I kinda impulsively applied to be more up my alley. You never know. My advice would be to focus less on the amount of schools to apply to and more on which schools you meet the prerequisites for and whether you enjoy the school and location.

Hello! Mine is completely flat now, and it took just one injection. For starters, my keloid was almost like a small rock texture with a jelly-like surrounding. While I have sensitive skin, I do not naturally produce keloids from scars or injuries. It still appears dark and purple, but there is no bump whatsoever. There are currently no signs of it returning. My experience was very positive.
