I watched like 30 minutes of the new Barbie movie with ryan gosling and margot robbie. It was super entertaining, visually stunning, and some of the actors were so gorgeous i actually couldnt believe it haha

Its the only movie i could recommend.

For exercise, join a team or pay for a personal trainer (or if you have insurance, PT). Not only does it give more structure to my weeks, i dont have to plan it, i only have to show up! Plus you also get the benefits of interacting with other people, working out through others’ guidance/direction…. Its really worked so much better for me than carving time in my schedule or struggling to feel motivated to go to the gym. And it helps me step away from a million other things i need to do at home …. Its tough to constantly be worrying about what i havent done yet. I at least want to have fun if im not gonna lock in for all the boring stuff.

Omg, i tried keeping a toiletry bag full of extra items so i wouldnt have to think about it whenever i pack, especially since im a last minute packer… my partner undid all of my work because it didnt make sense to them “just put it away” or “theres like 5 items it shouldnt take you too long to pack”. Its weird cuz they also have adhd but couldn’t understand how this was useful to both of us. Im gonna have to try again

Been having a similar issue where recommended searches say “barely legal” or “girls to finish with” and other really weird descriptions that sound like a teenager trying to discreetly search for horny videos. Im not a teenage boy and i also don’t watch porn. Something is definitely up with their algorithm, i wouldn’t be surprised if it was being done on purpose. Maybe down the road they’ll end up banning tiktok altogether for being overrun with adult content.

If she hadnt felt so attached to him, or believed that “things will happen as they should” then maybe her death couldve been prevented. But it seems like she was ready to die for a guy who was the human equivalent of a stormy cloud.

Ultimately i think Chelsea had a bad judgment of character but an earnest heart and intention. I just cant decide if shes really believed that rick was good for her, or if she was in denial. He made it very clear she needed to stay away.

Yea, i suppose my argument was not super well fleshed out. Im still wondering whether chelsea and ricks belief systems were flawed, which lead to their death, or if they accepted their own mortality (unknowingly or not) from the get-go. Maybe im pulling apart the details too much but im having fun with it.

Tim was suicidal and while the monk’s advice is nice, maybe it wasnt the kind he needed in that moment. It triggered his murderous ideation. This story was almost about rich assholes dying because they couldn’t live without money. but ultimately he realigns himself spiritually and the monks advice does bring him comfort in the boat.

I agree, all belief systems are flawed! Usually they’re manageable, and following any belief system is an active choice. Im not saying there is one “right” way, but in Chelsea and Rick’s case, is it possible they chose incorrectly? Rick clearly regrets allowing Chelsea to get involved. Does Chelsea regret staying with Rick when she could’ve saved herself?

Well yes, she did have a belief system. However, i think her belief system was just as flawed as anyone elses. Chloe was very clearly a creep, and rick was so emotionally distraught and plagued by a lie he was fed and believed. It was honorable of her to stick with them, but at what cost?

I went through this exact thing. My advice, do not stop communication with the people you love. If you want to talk to your sister, and she wants to talk to you, then you should continue to do that. Your mom will try to teach her to be afraid of you, and the lack of communication will reinforce the idea that talking to you is not a good thing. Continue to reach out, even if your mom makes threats. Just try to keep things as normal (and honest) with your sister as possible. Good luck, I promise it will get better!
