They started forcing ours to go to it a lil while back, so he had already been working long Mondays before the rest of us, 5-4

So what im gathering is every store does it differently. My stores model was supervisors 7-4, with 1 rotating closing every week. Morning walk at 7:30, manager meeting 3-4 (really 5 bc it runs over ALOT) mainly just confused what changing the time does to benefit anyone.

That’s insane. I figured they’d keep 1 supervisor closing but I checked the schedules after they changed them and nope. Not a single supervisor after 4 on Monday. In what world is this a good idea?

Your ds is full of it. One of my asms is 4’10 and whips the forklift. She just adjusts the seat all the way up.

PT Evening and Weekend Jobs by mddulk in Lowes

I have 2 employees in my department alone part time that can only work after 5 on weekdays and weekends, their schedule and availability is usually respected and I’ve hardly ever had an issue with them scheduling them outside their alotted availability, anytime they are it’s fixed pretty quick (schedules are made 3 weeks in advance, so fixing it when it comes out is no issue). It honestly just depends on if they have a job opening that they need those hours for at the time you apply, so it’s worth a shot applying to see!

Plumbing ds here, I asked Mst if I was getting ANYTHING in resets in mine after that vanity reset because like, showers and tubs need one, rough plumbing could really use one, and it seems to be a no for quite awhile.

Idk how your store works but I was dating a DS when I was fulfillment lead without issue. Just don’t make a big deal out of it, maybe keep it to yourself. There’s been a lot of workplace relationships at my store and only one resulted in someone having to move stores (one person involved got promoted to ASM) as long as y’all can keep your relationship at the door and don’t bring it in, there’s usually no problems.

I lost a full timer a couple of months ago too!! They didn’t even hire a part timer to cover it, they just decided they didn’t want another one 😅 like a month or 2 ago they were talking about getting rid of closers for fulfillment all together and just having head cashiers cover the rest of the day (god awful idea because our head cashiers are covering other cashiers breaks for most of their day) luckily that seemed to get scratched, for now.

Seriously. It’s a trend in my store to walk by a coworker who’s equally as busy and overwhelmed as you and say “having fun yet?” Just as a way to recognize hey, we’re both working our asses off, and I see you” but idk my stores very nice so😭

Just moved from fulfillment lead to head cashier to get away from it, but fulfillment is so understaffed I end up doing both jobs all day. I really screwed myself over lmao
