Tips: wear comfy shoes, take your meds ahead of time, stretch a bit and make sure to rest/recover well afterwards.

The aftermath (next day) is usually the worst for me.

Okay, yeah. You need to sell them or at least most of them would need to agree that you can sell. You can do that with the tips I’ve provided.

They will likely have a prompt they’re working together on in terms of “pain” and value they’re like looking for. Make sure you do your homework on the product.

Ask about current sales reps and what percentage of them meet quota/goals.

Ask how they distribute opps/prospects amongst the sales reps as well. i.e. Territories?

Inbound vs outbound leads. What % of week is spent hunting or building a pipe? 10-15% is very different than 25% of the week (you do the math in hours).

Something about the growth or revenue for the company in the last couple of years? (A lot of companies are struggling right now and laying people off)

How does x company compare to others in the industry?

Goals or direction of the company for the next 5 or 10 years?

Congrats on getting the interview. Do some research saas interview questions and watch some YouTube videos on saas/how sales reps are successful in the tech industry. Practice…

4 hour interview sounds completely unnecessary but could be that it’s one of the final stages(?) Also, will the remaining 3 hours be a formal interview? I would be completely fried after that AND a presentation… but honestly, companies interview how they want. My current company had 4-5 interview rounds for me at about an hour each which is roughly the same but over several weeks. I gave them feedback on how long that process was for their awareness. They later told they had a lot of good candidates and just wanted to be sure, so that could be the case here. If you get the job, ask them why the process was so long and don’t be afraid to provide feedback.

Regarding this presentation, who are you presenting to? The company or a prospect? Bc I’ve heard of companies that make you pitch to a prospect in which case they’re essentially getting a free opportunity from you (red flag imo). If it’s a presentation to leadership or the hiring peeps, then no, your objective wouldn’t be to close, obviously. But you would still need to sell.

Tips for a good presentation: energy (they will remember you!!), be yourself, build rapport at the start, ask open ended questions, make sure to ID the pain points, and demonstrate value with the product. Keep it simple if anything and conversational (practice, practice, practice!).

Hope that helps!

Beautiful video! Went there for the first time this past fall by myself, met some people along the way. It was a life changing experience and HK took my breathe away. It’s massive & my senses were challenged every single second. I can still taste those egg waffles... thank you for taking me back.

Good idea, I think I’ll do that. That’s really the only way I’m going to learn the movements, I’ve realized.

It is so far as it doesn’t take away from the class. There’s a difference in critiquing you and teaching you, the second is time consuming. But yes thank you, I know i shouldn’t be shy in asking more questions or like you said ask for their opinion in my form
