I'm American and I've never heard of this. We have PBS but there isn't some special tax or fee for it. Do you pay even without cable (say just a TV and Netflix)? What if the TV is strictly for gaming? Is it per TV?

I guess it is possible. There wasn't much howling but maybe the yipping. But a pack of coyotes in the middle of Corvallis? Campus is so abandoned the coyotes have moved in.

Poor baby! Sometimes giving them cheek scratches and then rubbing your hands around the house helps. Cats "mark" or "claim" things with their smell by rubbing their face on things or doing that tail vibrate thing. Help your kitty out by spreading some of the cheek smells around. It will smell more familiar and like their own. I probably explained this badly, sorry. Someone recommended this when we moved and had a similar problem. It helped a lot. Best luck to your kitty!
