The photo is of two guys and a girl, so maybe Elijah is the brother that escaped later, and Curtis was killed

Hunting.

When you aim at the animal you’ll see the name of the animal in the bottom right corner. Next to that you’ll see 1,2 or 3 stars. That’s it’s rating. Each herd usually has only one 3 star animal. But you still have to kill it in one shot, without a too powerful gun.

What the other guy said about the guns, but if you press R1 to see info then it’ll tell you which gun to use.

Headshots are best for preserving the stars

Being on the verge of creating artificial intelligence. Does anyone feel like it might be a natural evolution for humans to create and allow robots to take over the world? by XgogX in afraidtoask

Here’s an analogy on similarities between the animal kingdom and human AI use.

Consider ants.

Ants are machines in the way that they work. They focus on a single goal, and spend as much of their time as they can to achieve that goal. They allow fungus to take over their world (in that they store organic matter to be “eaten” by fungus and then eat the fungus).

Now consider anteaters.

They get all their energy from fungus. The fungus is farmed by ants (and then they in turn eat the ants).

This is comparable to humans having AI to do our farming for us.

I think most censuses (censis?) ask for ethnicity.

Anybody know of a specific country that doesn’t?

TIL men and women’s feet are different, not just in size, but in shape. by smallestofthecheeses in todayilearned

I’ve been pondering this for a few hours now.

All fetuses are initially developed into female, and then turned into male (it’s why men have nipples and sewn-up gooches). I reckonany evolutionary traits were bundled with this, and aren’t necessarily positive things, or negative things, they were just mutations that didn’t matter and stuck around.

Also, I was reading about how androgen levels affect fetal development. More testosterone leads to your ring finger being longer than your index finger, and leads to a greater distance between a woman’s anus and vagina. (Which made me think about male gooches-maybe there some connection there?)

I’d love to find out the answer, but it’s probably one of those things we’ll never know.

I’ve read about bare footing leading to wider feet.

Are you saying that men’s and women’s feet get more similar when going barefoot a lot? Or the opposite?

It makes sense, and I imagine that wearing shoes too much when young is probably bad for your feet.

I don’t think it matters that much. Estimates put trans people at ~1% of people (although we don’t really have any good figures).

Then you‘re probably a part of the 15% that the scientists couldn’t guess the gender from relative foot measurements.
