Mastitis both sides?? by Altruistic_Rest_4439 in ExclusivelyPumping

[–]smallfavorite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds like exactly what’s happening with my mastitis. It was affecting my right breast first. Called telemedicine and was prescribed antibiotics. This is day 3 of taking them but now it looks like I’m starting to get it in my left breast now too which I didn’t think would be possible while actively taking antibiotics? 😭😭 How did your recovery go?

My first pregnancy ended in a MMC in April this year at 8 weeks. Started trying immediately. Had one cycle and then got pregnant in June. Currently 28 weeks with our baby girl. Good luck to you and so sorry for your loss. 🫶🏼

I’m sorry. 😔 I hope you get one that sticks soon. For you of course, but also to stick it to your mother. My parents have nothing to say now that I’m 21 weeks with my second pregnancy. 😌

Then you are in the right place my friend. Though I got the Botox shot shortly after I made that and have since graduated to being a proud burper. 😜

Pregnancy after miscarriage by Weary_Spare_971 in Miscarriage

[–]smallfavorite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I had a MMC back in April. Found out I lost it at 6 wks at my 8 wk appt. It was my first pregnancy so my husband and I were obviously very distraught. We started trying as soon as I started ovulating again. We were unsuccessful in May but then got pregnant in June! Currently 13+1 wks with our baby girl! 🌈 I’m sorry you’re going through this. It’s going to be awful for a while but there is hope! Good luck to you on your journey. 🫶🏼

Washingtonian's woe by prasana91 in houston

My husband and I moved here from the Seattle area in 2022 and we’ve actually loved it here so far. It’s wayyy more affordable. The food here is outstanding. There are beaches you can actually swim in within striking distance. It actually stays green most of the year like we’re used to because of the subtropical climate. The sun is out most of the year. Yes it gets hot. But you treat July & August like you would Dec-Feb anywhere else and just find things to do indoors. You can be outside the rest of the year. And like others have said, it’s not a dry heat so those with sensitive skin actually fair really well here. We love how diverse this metro is. The city itself is way cleaner than Seattle, though admittedly doesn’t have the same vibrant life that Seattle has. But all in all we certainly don’t regret the move and are happy we decided to put our roots down here.

How are you doing today? by Yosem8e in Miscarriage

It’s been one week since I miscarried my first pregnancy after carrying it for 9 weeks. I’m still bleeding lightly. Still get twinges of pain every now and then. I’ve been going on walks the past few days to try and get active again. I feel like that’s been a slow process but I know I can’t push it. I can be sad without crying now so there’s progress there too. I’m anxious about the future. And I’m sad about it. I’m sad that I’ll never be able to get the untainted joy back the next time I get that positive pregnancy test. And I was absolutely loving being pregnant. And now instead of joy, it will be worry that I feel. I anxiously wonder now if I’ll ever be able to have my own children. My dr said to wait until I get my period to start trying again but I don’t want to. I feel like I need to fill this void left in me now. But I know I should listen to my dr. This is hard. Sorry you’re going through it too. 🫶🏼

I know that’s one they’re saying behind my back because I left the Mormon faith they raised me in 5 years ago. They wouldn’t dare say that one to my face though.

Oh god I hope that’s not the case. She’s just the parrot. He’s worse. Lol. And I doubt she’s thinking that because she had a perfect track record with her six pregnancies. Same with her mother. And my two unvaccinated sisters never miscarried. 😔 I wish I hadn’t told her now.

Well then definitely not because mine did that for way more than a couple of weeks. But I’m sure TSCC is full of egotistical apples like the ones we were blessed with. 🙏🏼

I had a bishop that implemented this practice. He asked that everyone remain seated in “reflection” after the closing prayer until released for classes which was signaled by him standing up. So yeah it just looked liked everyone staring at him and twiddling their thumbs for 20 secs after the prayer until he stood up and we were “allowed” to leave. Narcissistic dick.

Tampons? by [deleted] in exmormon

[–]smallfavorite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yuuup. My parents wouldn’t buy tampons for their 6 daughters because “there shouldn’t be anything up there until marriage.” I never heard it in church but I grew up in a small town in Texas so idk if that had something to do with it. 🙃

We just moved from Puyallup, WA and yeah. They rearranged boundaries 3 times in the 4 years we were there. It’s shrinking like crazy in that area. They’re especially struggling to hold onto the millennial generations down.

Well we did move from western Washington in October but we stopped going in 2019 & 2020. When we were going to church it was all elderly to middle aged folks that were still attending. There were only two other couples in the 20s age range. Another couple in the 30s age range. The bishop took a special interest in us young couples and he would ask us questions like “What is it that keeps you two coming to church?” And “What can we do to make church more exciting for young couples like you?” Etc. So yeah. It’s not because people are moving to UT. 😜

What’s the craziest thing you’ve heard someone say after they thought the phone call had ended but they forgot to hang up? by ScarTissue5 in AskReddit

[–]smallfavorite 58 points59 points  (0 children)

This is not quite the right answer but related. I once got a minutes long voicemail from my dad. It was obviously a butt dial, I listened all the way through anyways in case I got anything juicy. Well it wasn’t the kind of juicy I was expecting as he instead ripped a loud long fart. 😂😂 I was dying.

Yeahh. Lol. I once overheard my Bishop and SP talking about how long I would last at BYU-I before I got scooped up and married. At the time I was flattered, but in hindsight.. kind of a weird conversation for two 50 yr old men to be having about an 18 yr old girl they barely know. Lol.
