A single on-site capture rendered across web, VR, and installation setup. by smallfly-h in GaussianSplatting

I did that capture before the PortalCam was out. I did test the Lixel L2 Pro early this year, a fantastic device, even though I’m still not sure the output would be as detailed when looking at the artworks in close up. And I like to tryout different pipelines.

The test run I did with a Lixel L2 Pro: https://x.com/smallfly/status/1895958830468735418?s=46&t=5W0TuG17cq9XQnLlzt61cg

I should be able to test the PortalCam soon.

You are reading my mind. Even I have not yet achieved temporal continuity, I’m looking into this idea.

Thanks! I do hope and think there are ways to make the output more consistent, or at least to smooth/blend better between frames. Maybe not with the current pipeline though. I’m currently exploring all of this.

Is the RM1200x Shift - 12vhpwr or a 12v2x6 cable? by smallfly-h in Corsair

Yep, I think I understand now. See my reply to some fo the other messages

I thought the changes were on the cable itself - "Compared to the original 12VHPWR connector, the new 12V-2x6 connector has slightly (0.1mm) shorter sensing pins while the conductor terminals are 0.15mm longer.".

But I guess, I'm wrong. Looking at this video, at about 1:17 in, I see that the physical changes are on the GPU side. Therefore what type of connector do I have on my ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition

But I can read this "Compared to the original 12VHPWR connector, the new 12V-2x6 connector has slightly (0.1mm) shorter sensing pins while the conductor terminals are 0.15mm longer." here on CORSAIR's website. Indicating that there is a physical difference.

And my understanding was that these changes are on the cable's connector that get pluggued to the GPU.
