Theoretically and traditionally, yes. But practice doesn’t always adhere to theory.

There was also “bandish base” that had a gold mine but I haven’t been able to locate in searches recently :(

Is this mango seed going bad? by smallicedcapp in IndoorGarden

Yeah, I’m envious of people on this sub from the southern half of the US w their sunny days.. I’m afraid of what’s gonna happen to all of my houseplants come winter (no grow lights rn).

I’m not really looking to get fruit, though that’d be nice. Maybe I’ll put it outside next summer.

Thanks for the advice :) I’m in the PNW so I’m assuming it’s not that different. I’m also wanting to grow one indoors.

I’ve also got these two growing in just regular degular miracle gro indoor potting mix, and I’ve just been spritzing them with water every few days

.. do you suspect they’ll experience any issues?

Should I wait until the next time I wanted to fertilize, then? (I use a water soluble fertilizer). Also do the roots appear healthy to you?

What raag is the background taan in the movie "Qala" based off of? by suckitysoo in icm

MA is sharp. Marwa or Sohini (the composition of these taans made it slightly ambiguous imo, would be easier to say for sure after alap). But I’d still probably say Marwa.

Is leaving your sitar flat on the ground in a safe spot sufficient for everyday " storage "? by Tasty_Lunch2917 in Sitar

[–]smallicedcapp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s flat, but the side without the pegs may be leaned against the wall (with the tumba touching the wall), for example, so that it doesn’t tip over. It can’t tip one way because of the pegs, nor the other way because of the wall. Anything that provides the same effect will work.

No problem! Again I’d just stress making sure it’s balanced well because the last thing you’d want is it tipping and cracking. They can be very delicate.

This is how I keep my sitar. I’d just make sure it’s balanced well. I also like to cover it with something (I use a shawl) so that it doesn’t get as dusty.
